Orange Marker
Orange Station

The orange mission can be acquired after a seemingly random event occurs where you pick up stranded alien.

When you land on a rocky planet, there is a chance that it may have an alien that seems to want to board your ship. This does not appear as an anomaly when using the geoscan. An inventory transfer screen opens and you can move one ’alien’ unit to your inventory. Upon leaving the planet, a small marker of the alien will appear on the galaxy map. If you go to that system and drop the alien off on the indicated garden planet, you have a chance of them either giving you Omega, or showing you a map. If they show you the map, then they get back on your ship and you now have the orange mission marker on your galaxy map.

The system of the orange marker will only contain the star and an elliptical ship.

Council Alien 1

Upon entering the ship, your alien passenger disembarks and begins a dialogue cutscene.

They take a bow towards the seats and then sit in one of them.

If you continue to land on rocky planets you can eventually acquire more aliens in the same way as the first. These aliens can be taken directly to the thrones at the orange marker and do not need to visit another indicated planet. They will follow the pattern of the fist alien with the bowing and taking a seat.

When you have brought the fourth alien to the thrones, a cutscene will start where the other aliens explain what this was for and you take the place on the fifth seat. This completes the mission and unlocks the Yellow Ship.

“The alien leaves his seat and takes me by the hand.

It accompanies to the remaining seat. It’s the highest one, towering over the others. He motions for me to sit down.

I take my seat.

The minute I sit down, the cathedral starts to shake. I don’t know what kind of science or magic is at work here but...

I turn to face the other aliens...

...the ambassadors...

I‘m able to read their minds. To understand them. They give me an explanation.

The station had been built long ago so the nations of the galaxy could all come together should a threat arise.

The threat had come: the People DEATH.

We are the representatives of 5 races, though mine had only a single individual.

From where we are seated, we can see and communicate with all of the planets.

We are going to join forces, to coordinate our actions and gain the upper hand.

To reestablish peace, either through fight or flight.

I’m sure that afterwards they will help me find my people.”
